What a Surprise!

Well, I was just watching Paris, Je T’Aime and my mom suddenly gave me something she found on our doorsteps! To our surprise, it’s a package from Moleskine straight from Milan!

I am so amazed because the last e-mail I got from them was last April 04 and I thought they’ll contact me again for whatever arrangements. Guess they thought it’ll be better if they surprised me! And I was surprised!

I guess the moment they sent me that e-mail, they went to the post office whatever and sent me the package!

I’m just so happy right now. I can’t believe it. Haha! Thank you Moleskine! When I go to Italy, I should drop by and give some basket of love or something. haha! Now, what to do with 2 planners? I guess one can be a legit diary with colors and artsy fartsy and the other can be a planner x diary.

In my last entry I mentioned that my Moleskine has some defect on the pocket flap thing at the back of the planner.

I was saddened, really, and quite disappointed because they let a defect pass the testing stage for quality whatever. I’ve been a planner type of person since I was in 7th grade (2005). Back then I used Starbucks planners since 1. I really liked the colorfulness 2. It’s Starbucks and at that time of my life I really really loved everything Starbucks (fact: I currently have 5 Starbucks tumblers).

My brother introduced me to Moleskine as something sleek, simple and very minimalist while retaining its “beauty”. Without saying anything else, I grabbed my first Moleskine from the shelf and bought it. I really loved every bit of it. The texture of the paper, the garter thing, the fact that it has some ruler sort of thing. Totally fell in love. In fact, ever since 2008, I have been buying Moleskine planners! And at times I would buy Moleskine planners/notebooks/whatnot for my friends as well. To date, I think I have given 7 friends Moleskine stuff. I can totally be a Moleskine ambassador or something if such exists!

Anyway, so I went to their site and told them my problem after my last blog entry. I wasn’t expecting anything, to be honest. But  I was surprised that they e-mailed me this afternoon!

Can’t wait to get the replacement! I am really happy because of all the customer care and services ever, Moleskine is the very first to reply to me. And that’s why I love Moleskine!

I am not endorsing them in anyway, I wish I am though then they’ll sponsor my blog but haha! will not reach the caliber of chuvaness anytime soon. And don’t really want to endorse it because I find it a chore to get a planner I want from them since stocks are super limited and they arrive in few quantities. Don’t want to travel all the way to Greenbelt though (their flagship store is located there). Anyway, I shall be patiently waiting for the replacement. Hope it arrives here before I leave!

April is here! As much as I wanted to blog about the boring events of April 1, I opted to move it to today since I anticipated fun stuff to happen. Too bad not so much! Haha!

April 1, our grades were released. To be honest I was so thankful for some of my classes while saddened at some. I really wish I did better the past sem and didn’t lose hope halfway through the sem. But that’s that and I am just happy that at least my cumulative went up from 2.86 to 2.91! My QPI last sem was 2.75 and I guess I improved since my QPI for this sem is 3.00.

I’m halfway through college and I just can’t wait for the last 2 years of my college life!

See my 4th year 2nd sem? Well since I’ll be JTA-ing, all those electives will be credited during my JTA Term. and I am really hoping that my minoring plans will work out! Pray for me please!

I have a fun goal by graduation but since I don’t want to jinx anything, I shall keep my mouth shut for now. Only my brother knows about it. We’re cool like that. Haha!

April 2, I woke up to a very </3 site! My Moleskine Diary 2011 apparently has a defect! Good thing I kept the quality control and I’m hoping the Moleskine people will exchange it! 😦 I really defended to buy this over the usual hard cover weekly planner so Moleskine better replace it.

As much as it really brought me down, my favorite neighbor happened to pass by the house! I don’t know the spelling of his name but it’s like “Caiden”. Caiden is like the cutest most adorable neighbor I ever had in the history of neighbors! I really want to keep him and be his babysitter. I’ll totally treat him like a younger brother and pass on all my dreams in life to him and he’ll be as amazing as I am as other cool people are.

I gave him a lollipop I found in our refrigerator! And whatever his babysitter, my househelp and I did, he wouldn’t eat it! He just kept on shaking it and he kept on smiling! Cute!


I made him smile and laugh a lot of times and he made me really happy too! Maybe I should consider babysitting during the month before I leave?

When I was a baby I was a Korean. I’ve told that to my friends how many times already but it’s true! I really look like some Korean with big hair!

I’d like to assume I had a haircut after some time and then I turned into this baby with funky hair. Reminds me of some Taiwanese actor actually! Haha!

It’s currently 2:40 PM and I am researching for my SCI 10 final paper. It’s an essay sort of paper. My prof was ‘inspired’ by the Graduate Record Examination. An issue is presented to us and we have to present our views on it backed up with relevant stuff and we have to cite at least 3 sources. It’s not a big deal so much actually but I am aiming for a B+ in SCI10 and I really don’t know my standing right now. Haha! What has been tough though is getting legit sources. Need to go to Ateneo tomorrow to get legit sources. It’s due tomorrow before 5PM anyway. Haha!

A lot has happened the past week but I’d rather save the blog entry/ies for another time. For now I am just drowning with finals stuff and I’m so hassled by these actually. Thankfully I have Jelly Belly to make me happy. (mind you, I didn’t eat a lot, my brother eats too!)

This morning we went to Rockwell and I am so so happy that there’s finally a camera store there! No need to go to far flung areas anymore to check camera stuff! Went to MUJI and bought myself a small notebook.

That’s my Moleskine under. Seriously I think I have an addiction with notebooks and planners! I have a lot! But they do have different purposes, so I guess it’s okay 🙂

Anyway that’s it for now, and I sincerely apologize not being so faithful here. Heavy acads but these shall pass soon anyway 🙂 For now, I shall finish this SCI10 paper while devouring this ‘Apple Galaxy’ from BreadTalk!
