Toby’s Estate in Pasig

My first encounter of Toby’s Estate was in Century City Mall. It had a quaint space, just enough to seat around 6 people comfortably–bar style at that. It was one of those third-wave cafés that had a more high-brow feel compared to the others which were more cozy and quirky. No worries, the quality of beverages and food is still great.

I just found out recently that Toby’s Estate opened shop in Pasig, discreetly positioned along one of the less busy streets of the Ortigas Business District.

Like its other branches in Century City Mall and in Salcedo Village, this café sports the same features: white bricks, wooden furniture, and decorated with several black items. Not a fan of the succulents though.

I will also always love their visual table mat. A nice educational tool, and a nice way to kill time.

Their coffee maintains the same high-level quality. I simply love their beans! Not to mention the generous serving of their cup coffee.

Their classic chicken sandwich is just right. Bread was just too tough to cut with a knife. Oddly though, not too stiff when you start munching on it. The baby potato chips though were cute!

The long table is my favorite part of the café (next to the coffee). If only it took on an eccentric shape and not just the usual rectangle. Then again, that would go against their whole image. Very chic interiors, I must say.

Toby’s Estate in Robinsons Cybergate Beta Building on Ruby Road is open everyday from 8AM to 10PM.
