You can feel it in the way home

I never understood the fuss about Valentine’s; why some people have to be bitter, why some couples burn so much cash to have the “best Valentine’s Date”. I’m not judging anyone, though. I make it a point to spoil myself from time to time. I could only imagine what I’d do for someone special. Anyway, yesterday I thought it would be all about me. I was so wrong.

Yummy Churros in Town!

My first encounter of really good churros was with Dulcinea back when I was not even 10 years old. I remember I would struggle to fit the churros to the cup containing chocolate. There were even instances when I would ask for an extra cup of the chocolate dip because it tasted really good. Come college, I was happy to find out that there’s a Dulcinea in the Gonzaga cafeteria. Churros were my breakfast sometimes. Sadly, it came to a point when they stopped operations.

Yummy Churros in Town!

My new friend: Fujifilm XF1

I’ve been lugging around my dSLR wherever I go since January 2009. It has always been the camera I’d bring no matter the occasion; from events, to travels and to everyday life. No complaining about photo quality because photos always turn out amazing…but sometimes, it’s really inconvenient. It’s not compact. It’s quite heavy. Not to mention, it’s not “hi-can-you-take-a-photo-of-me” friendly. I love my dSLR, but I need something compact to capture everyday moments. Something I can place inside my bag, or my pocket.

So, I got myself a Fujifilm XF1.
