So Much for Valentine’s

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!

As we all know February 14 is that time of the year when people do mushy, sweet, lovey-dovey stuff for their loved ones. Roses here and there, balloons as well! It’s the perfect time of the year for flower shops and here in the Philippines, it’s that time of the year when Dangwa is just filled with people. This year wasn’t an exception.

Early in the morning, I already saw couples being sweet. I saw a girl being given this big teddy bear holding a heart. I saw a guy “proposing” to a girl. A couple PDA-ing. And a lot more! And yes, all these I saw in school. Totally sweet! Being single, I know that I wouldn’t get any surprises. I knew nothing would get me going that day… guess I was wrong! haha!

When I left my PE bag at my locker I noticed a very cute board with 2 bananas. Lo and behold! The TnT board was already set up! It’s super cute!! Kudos to the TnT Core! I swear to God, I texted a lot of people about it! It’s just something that any TnT would get giddy and excited about! Haha! Can’t wait for the sign ups and for the auditions!

The whole day was pretty uneventful actually except for a very short part of the day which I will keep to myself and to a few people who know about my situation. Haha! MOVING ON.

We had one of the last EB meetings ever as the EB ’10-’11. 😦 GOOODD I’ll super miss you guys 😦 It was one of the quickest meetings we ever had and one of the things that made it quite special would be the presence of the incoming EB for SY ’11-’12!

Hi Bien and hi Xea! Alyson and Rana are the Digital Workshops Project Heads. I still feel bad that they won’t be able to push through with the Flash 😦 I’ve been dying to learn! Ohwell, self learn this summer, I guess? And that’s pretty much my Valentine’s this year. Haha!

Oh and guess where I saw this! COVERED COURTS!

So Much for Valentine’s

“Field” Trip

Since the start of the semester, our LS10 professor told us that we’d be having an Industry Tour which is just a fancy way of saying “Field Trip”. Back then until 2 weeks ago, I didn’t care losing a free day for a possible fun day going around different places. But like last week I was all like “Oh dear God, I so need a break!” Oh well…

Woke up at 5:00 am to get to school at around 6:00am and our bus left after sometime. Our first stop was at the Jollibee Commissary. We saw how their stuff were made; sauces, sausages, buns, patties, etc. I found this plaque thingy rather cute.

We went back to the bus after a short amount of time and from South, we went to Ortigas for the Philippine Stock Exchange. On our way, we (Ina, Maia and I) slept again. Haha! Maia brought the cutest thing ever, her pig pillow thingy! Cute pa how sir Sabug poked fun at it!

Cute rin na on our way, Janine thought of studying for her class! Diamond, on the other hand was rather bored of the trip. Haha.

After the PSE, we went back South (yeah, we passed by the SLEX a lot of times. Haha!) for the Gardenia thingy. So happy I thought we’d be back in school early, guess not! We were so delayed and the factory was closing-ish na. Fail much.

Found the mini grocery cart with bread rather cute though.

Past 5:00pm, we finally left to go back to Ateneo. Our original ETA was 5:00pm, we arrived in school around 6:20pm. Totally ruined my plan to download and watch Glee right away so I can start with acads early and sleep early. Oh well 😐 Will sleep late, as usual. 😐

But to be fair, the field trip was enjoyable anyway.

Sir Sabug was really accommodating! He talked to nearly everyone inside the bus!

Bus trip wouldn’t be as fun if it weren’t for my seatmates, Ina and Maia! We did some seating rotation and at one point I settled for the aisle seat since my legs were more free. Haha!

To end. Well, I like taking pictures of stuff behind me. So I would raise my camera then click! Funny how some people I don’t know smiled! haha! Funny!

February 4, 2011

Bad way to start the day but while the day progressed, total happiness. After 11:30, I was done with all my classes and the fun and all degrees of happiness just came and filled my day.

SWEETS! First time to buy from Candy Corner this morning for the week considering they’ve been in school the WHOLE week. Haha! Strawberry strips thingy. A Jalapeño/Banana shaped thingy. And a semi-ellipse thingy. Should’ve bought more! 😦

Trisha and Nikki manning the elections table!  I just noticed that these two women always appear in my blog! Haha!

Greg, Nikki and Paolo before leaving CTC-SOM Walkway.

Water Balloons prepared by Management batchmates! Super festive colors! SWEETNESS.

Cool thing! I saw Martin today while he was checking his seat for his ACC30 Long Test. Accompanied him to the SOM photocopy place. HE’S SO NARCISSISTIC! HAHA! Well he took pictures of me but I look so sabog, as usual, so I won’t post it here. Haha! Anyway, I really think that if one will do a photo shoot with Martin, the photographer will have a fun time because of all the crazy poses Martin will be able to think of. Haha!

Afternoon, SOM CUP 2011 closing. ComTech won in a lot of events (no surprise! haha!) Evening, we went bowling at the bowling place in Eastwood. Fun although it was the worst game in my bowling history. Haha! 35?? It was cool to bowl with a prof though. Sir Zab Jimenez, thank you for playing with us! Really appreciate it!

Oh and ComTech are the champions again for SOM Games! Yay!

To end, just want to share that it was so cool that for the first time ever, I saw the disco balls there in “action”. What a great day! 🙂

KUNG HEI FAT CHOI!

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! I’m 1/6 Chinese so I think I’m still allowed to greet people that and wear red? HAHA! So how did I celebrate Chinese New Year? Well I didn’t. haha! Just went on with my usual school life. It was a fun day actually. Why?

Saw some of my freshies playing ultimate and I semi-joined them. Haha! RJ and Mark

Kaye who kept on hitting walls. Haha!

Found Mark’s way of throwing it fun so took a picture. Haha!

Went to my shift as well for the ACTM Elections

The first two people who voted during my shift were JV and Jessie. Just realized now they can actually be a couple. They look cute o.

The ballots. Super colorful! Go Nikki and Trisha! Haha!

To end this entry, I think it’s just fitting to place this photo which I took in my PSY 101 classroom. I actually don’t know what it says but I think it’s like Happy New Year or something. Haha!

Chinese New Year Eve

Today, my Asian Histo classmates, along with members of the 3 others classes under Ma’am Nazareno, assembled by the SocSci Garden for the China Enrichment Activity. What is this “China Enrichment Activity” you ask? It’s quite simple. All of us who chose this enrichment activity had to choose a historical and significant Chinese figure then dress up today as that character. But it doesn’t end there, we were all given Bingo sheets and we had to form a pattern and it’s not just a matter of asking the person to sign it, we were supposed to place 2 significant details about our character too!

At first, I was like “CRUD! What if I don’t finish this by 1PM?!” Well the thing is, people were free to come and go so it’s by luck and patience to complete a pattern. Thankfully I finished around 11:30am-12nn! I really enjoyed it even if I had to cut COM12 for it. SORRY SIR! I felt bad that I didn’t bring my camera right away because by the time I brought it out, a lot of people left already. Well, here are some of the shots I took though. Haha!

Third as a female Chinese character

Gabi, Third, Lao and Nelson. The Femme Fatale. Haha!

Kyla with her awesome shades.

Third with the R3 HI16 students of Ma’am Nazareno. I can only identify Mara with her very Communist get up, Pam pointing, Benjo with this green top, PatGai looking very Chinese and Kyla with modern twist to her Chinese outfit.

And I shall end this with a picture of the cutest Chinese person I know. ROBINA! (well it’s Robina with her friend. HAHAHA!)
